ABOUT SUSA PELUSA

My name is Zuzanna Skiba, and for the past eight years I have been helping students from around the world achieve their linguistic, educational and professional goals.

SUSA PELUSA was born from a love of language, rhythm and the playful nature of words.

The name is light-hearted, melodic and full of energy, reminding me that language learning is not only about reaching a destination but also about discovering, experimenting and developing one’s own potential.

I wanted to create a brand that would be professional while remaining human, creative and vibrant—just like the languages I teach.

I offer courses in:

  • Polish as a Foreign Language
  • Spanish as a Foreign Language
  • French as a Foreign Language

I also prepare students for language examinations, academic and professional goals, as well as visa and migration processes.

This is why I view language learning as an atelier—a creative space for growth where every learner builds their own path, and my role is to accompany and guide them throughout the process.

I work with children, teenagers, adults and senior learners at all proficiency levels. I believe that language can open new opportunities at every stage of life—from early childhood to retirement. It is a powerful tool for meeting people, personal development, professional growth and positive life change.

My Experience

I hold a Master’s degree in French Philology and specialise in Linguistics.

An important aspect of both my work and teaching is my interest in regions historically shaped by colonial legacies, particularly Latin America and the Francophone world. In today’s increasingly interconnected and mobile world, it is crucial to understand both the differences and the similarities between cultures and national identities. Such awareness significantly facilitates communication and cooperation across cultures.

While teaching, I have also gained valuable experience in the corporate sector. This background has given me a deep understanding of professional ethics, workplace culture, efficiency, flexibility in client relations and process management.

I believe that the combination of strong academic expertise, linguistic precision, analytical thinking, corporate experience, artistic sensitivity and empathy enables me to provide highly personalised support and adapt to even the most specific and specialised needs of my students.

My Polish roots have taught me perseverance, responsibility and diligence. The Spanish language has taught me openness and adaptability, while French has cultivated my appreciation for culture and communication. Together, these influences have shaped both my teaching philosophy and the vision behind SUSA PELUSA Atelier Linguistique.

Over the years, I have worked with learners from Poland, Spain, Mexico, France and Ukraine and many more. I also live in southern Spain, where multilingual communication is a natural part of everyday life. Having an international partner and a diverse network of friends constantly exposes me to new perspectives and intercultural experiences.

Education

I graduated in Romance and French Philology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and also studied Cultural Anthropology at the University of Granada, which allowed me to deepen my understanding of the relationship between language, culture and communication.

I hold the Spanish bilingual secondary-school diploma (Título de Bachiller), as well as DELE C1 and DELE C2 certifications.

I was repeatedly recognised by Adam Mickiewicz University and the Embassy of Spain for academic excellence and was distinguished as one of the three best graduates of bilingual Spanish-language programmes in Poland in 2019.

I have also participated in international academic projects in Paris and Nancy focusing on French translations of the Qur’an.
